Area Manager responsibilities:
Formulate fruitful business development strategies to ensure long-term success
Set standards and objectives for different stores and departments
Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficiency
Lead a team of store managers towards effective collaboration and attainment of goals
Undertake sound financial management to ensure stores are profitable and stay within budget
Ensure compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines
Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions
Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it
Full responsibility on store's HR structure include ; recruit, onboard, train, develop, review and feedback
Report to VP sales and other senior executives on progress and issues
Work with HO team on all area aspects - products, budgets, finance, HR, payroll etc..
Assist upper management in decisions for expansion or acquisition
Main representative in the territory - be familiar with the local market in all aspects - labor law, labor market, competitors, sale periods, locations etc.
Previous hands-on experience and proven results in sales of consumer goods- retail!
Active English language speaker;
Familiarity with Poland CE market, main retail companies as well as special CE retail stores;
Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (especially Excel);
Driving license and availability for travel;
Adaptability and proactive approach for achieving goals;
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
